In the first nine months of fiscal 2009/2010, net sales generated by the Wincor Nixdorf Group fell by 3% to €1,682 million (9 months 2008/2009 [referred to hereafter as “previous year”]: €1,729 million). Expressed in U.S. dollars, net sales in the reporting period contracted by a notional 2%. In the third quarter, net sales for the Group stood at €521 million (previous year: €496 million), which corresponds to an increase of 5%.
