Optimization, Integration and Networking

Attracting, Supporting and Retaining Talent.

The main focus of Wincor Nixdorf’s global personnel strategy lies on attracting new, well-qualified employees while supporting and retaining our existing workforce in the best possible way. To achieve these objectives, we continuously improve and professionalize our key personnel processes in the areas of recruitment, assessment and ongoing staff development. One crucial element of this development process consists of regular meetings with employees. These facilitate and support a culture that combines both expectations of, and support for, employees. At the same time, we have launched an international program to systematically identify individuals across the entire Group with the ability to hold key positions, and to prepare them for future roles as part of our forward-looking approach to developing the next generation of managers.

Strengthened Integration Processes.

Partly as a means of integrating new employees into the Company, Wincor Nixdorf promotes and communicates our joint corporate values, such as entrepreneurial thinking and behavior, integrity and reliability. By living out and disseminating these values, we support communication and the exchange of ideas across cultural boundaries. In doing so, we are building a culture that is marked by creativity, flexibility and initiative – one that is vital in enabling the organization to adopt a proactive response to changes in the market.

Networking and Knowledge Transfer at an International Level.

Our recently launched “Knowledge Forum,” a subject-based resource that allows employees to pass on their own expertise to others within the Group, again proved very popular during the year under review. It is now used more intensively by the employees to obtain information related to their work and to discuss complex subjects.
