Intensive Support from A to Z

Everything from a Single Source.

With our Outsourcing (Glossary) offer, which we realize predominantly for banks, we are able to provide and support a broad range of products, applications and services from a single source. Companies can use our operating services to outsource infrastructures and processes that are not part of their core business, while ensuring the performance of these areas at the highest level. The risk of failure is minimized, while the service quality for customers in the branch is increased. With our comprehensive Outsourcing offer, we gradually take over the operation of IT infrastructures as well as the technical and operative processing of ATM and POS (Glossary transactions. This includes the complete operation of self-service system (Glossary networks as well as the control and monitoring of cash circulation.

Our solutions enable maximum availability, significant cost savings, improved service quality and process efficiency as well as reduced and transparent capital and operating expenditures. All of this results in customers who are intensively supported – and highly satisfied.

For us, outsourcing means taking over not only operation of the IT infrastructure but also the technical and operational processing of transactions at ATM or POS terminals. (photo gallery)

Bremen Savings Bank: Seamless Migration to OSPlus - Migration in only 19 Months. Bremen Savings Bank (Sparkasse Bremen) outsourced its entire decentralized infrastructure, including its client-server network, to Wincor Nixdorf Portavis after deciding to reposition itself as a retail bank. The financial institution’s complete IT infrastructure at 80 locations was also integrated into the OSPlus world within just 19 months. Bremen Savings Bank is Germany’s tenth-largest savings bank with assets of approximately €11 million, more than 1,600 employees and 86 branches.

Concept with Role Model Character. The Wincor Nixdorf Portavis systems migration project was unique in many ways. The outsourced services and applications, for instance, required an individual concept for interconnecting with the data center. The concept, which did not exist previously and had to be developed, serves as a model today for other savings banks collaborating with an outsourcing partner.

Competent and Experienced.“For the transition from the old system to the new one, our partner, Wincor Nixdorf Portavis, showed a high level of competence and experience in dealing with the large quantity structures,” says Bernhard Ruschke, Director of Organization and IT at Bremen Savings Bank. The outsourcing project covers a range of IT systems required at 2,500 workplaces, 300 servers, 450 self-service terminals and 2,400 telephones. Bremen Savings Bank was able to reduce its operating costs significantly by automating and optimizing key business processes.
