As general contractor, Wincor Nixdorf coordinates all services, allowing Best Buy employees to concentrate on the store openings.

All Services from One Source. In 2007 the U.S. retail giant, which employs more than 150,000 people worldwide and operates more than 1,000 stores, opened its first store in Shanghai. Within just four months, Wincor Nixdorf supported the opening of seven additional stores in Beijing and Shanghai with more than 80 POS systems. The IT solutions provider managed the entire project, implementing the IP telephone and wireless LAN systems as well as the installation of IT systems and POS scanners. The company will take over all IT services following the store openings.
