Protecting Our Systems

From the very start, the issue of security has been of great importance to our customers. We have now introduced a number of wide-ranging improvements in this area, including the provision of consulting (Glossary)  services. As well as offering monitoring solutions to protect branch systems, we have extended our portfolio of network security products. In response to the growing number of attempts to manipulate ATMs, especially those that involve reading the card data while furtively obtaining the user’s PIN (“skimming”), we have again improved the technology we use to prevent such attacks and combined it with video monitoring solutions. Instances of checkout fraud possibly committed by staff are a problem within the retail industry. Through the intelligent analysis of those transactions most commonly associated with fraudulent conduct, where necessary backed up by video monitoring, we can help retailers to uncover and curb cases of fraud.
