Partnership with Universities

We are continuously expanding the scope of our know-how transfer with universities and research institutes. For example, we have a well-established partnership with the University of Paderborn in the field of development methodologies and environments for complex mechatronic components. We have also set up a number of other collaborative projects in the areas of software development and advanced security technology. One such project involves the automation of test runs as a means of improving quality. The results of these partnerships are then incorporated into our portfolio. Furthermore, we are in the process of establishing an innovation network with universities to give us access to the latest knowledge and developments, and to encourage a dialog with students, scientists and lecturers. One additional objective of this initiative is to establish the name of Wincor Nixdorf at the universities as an attractive employer.
