Capital Management

As a matter of principle, Wincor Nixdorf pursues the goal of generating an appropriate return on invested capital. However, the Group’s reported equity serves merely as a passive management parameter, with sales and EBITA (Glossary)  applied as active management parameters. As described above, about half of the profit for the period (Glossary)  before profit charges arising from the carve-out (Glossary)  is paid out as dividend. The remaining amount is reserved.
