We believe that our duty to protect the environment is part of an ongoing process. We are constantly on the lookout for even better solutions – across the entire lifecycle of our hardware. As early as the development stage, we aim to create particularly durable and energy-efficient systems. To this end, we avoid using environmentally damaging substances and materials in production. During the year under review, for instance, we began operating a new painting shop that, from an environmental perspective, provides a number of important benefits: low-solvent and solvent-free painting systems, greater energy efficiency thanks to heat-capture technology and a significant reduction in wastewater. As well as deploying plant and machinery designed in accordance with latest environmental standards, we aim to reduce the volume of materials we use and place great emphasis on recycling.
