Our capacity to innovate is driven by a creative workforce. To fully exploit this potential, we believe it is necessary to give employees a degree of freedom and responsibility. We are open to suggestions from the workforce and welcome creative ideas and contributions that help enhance quality and thus boost our competitiveness. Once again, around 900 proposals were submitted during the year under review, suggesting ways in which we can reduce costs and optimize our products and processes. Thanks to these proposals, we were able to make savings of €1.5 million. We set up a new online platform that allows employees to submit their suggestions on how to improve internal processes and to present innovative ideas in relation to products and technologies.

For a large part of the workforce, the remuneration system involves a number of variable components based on the economic success of the Group and the results achieved in each area.
