Consolidated net sales enjoyed a double-digit percentage increase in the fiscal year under review, emulating the performance seen in fiscal 2004/2005. Net sales increased by 12% to €1,948 million (previous year: €1,744 million). This increase was attributable almost exclusively to organic growth.

After adjustment for changes in the EUR/USD exchange rate, sales growth totaled 11%.
