The new generation of system hardware

The intelligent banknote storage concept

All the CINEO systems share the same banknote processing technology, whether the device is for a retail or banking environment. The storage media are also new and based on a uniform standard. The concept is holistic because these media are used across the system family and throughout the cash cycle for both deposits and withdrawals. An intelligent chip in the storage unit stores information that is available at any time on both the level of cash inside and where and when the unit has been used or opened. Thus the banknote storage itself makes a valuable contribution to seamless tracing of customer cash across the cash handling process.
