How do you judge our Cash Cycle
Management concept?
Wincor Nixdorf’s Cash Cycle Management
concept allows cash cassettes to be filled and
emptied in the back office area and enables a swift exchange between the individual cash
points. As such, system downtime is reduced
and system availability increased. The experiences
we made with the system during the pilot
phase have been very positive. We’re eager
to see how the new Cash Cycle Management
Solution performs in the field. Credit Suisse is
convinced that this solution will allow branch
processes to be designed more effectively and
ATM operating costs to be reduced significantly.
What sort of role could the solution play in
your cash cycle? Do you see opportunities
where Wincor Nixdorf’s new solution could
be a big help?
As for cash management, we view each ATM
today as a stand-alone system. That means that each ATM operates with its own designated
cash cassette. This isn’t cost efficient
and doesn’t make optimal use of time. These
are areas where we believe we can benefit
enormously from Wincor Nixdorf’s new solutions.
As I said before, ATM downtime during
cash cassette filling and emptying can be significantly
reduced through a swift exchange
of cassettes between the various systems, resulting
in noticeably higher system availability
for customers and freeing cash service
staff to provide more targeted customer support.
Why does Credit Suisse like to participate
in pilot projects like this one?
We have a long tradition of innovation. We
generate added value for our customers by
using new standards like this one and by deploying
integrated solutions. In this context,
we view Wincor Nixdorf’s Cash Cycle Management
technology as an innovative solution
that allows us to establish new standards.
And how does Wincor Nixdorf’s new
Cash Cycle Management Solution fit into
your Branch Excellence concept?
With the new generation of ATMs, we are able
to integrate the cash cycle technology into
our branch concept very quickly, since no
huge process changes are necessary. Filling
and empting the cash cassettes can be done in
the back office, resulting in a faster exchange
of cassettes in ATMs. Cash service personnel
require only a brief training, which takes
place with the installation of each new system.
We view the introduction of an integrated
Cash Cycle Management system as a further
step in our efforts to establish highly efficient
cash management operations in our
branch operations. |
