Wincor Nixdorf enters South American market with reverse vending systems – order from Carrefour Argentina
Wincor Nixdorf has secured an order from Carrefour, Europe’s largest retailer, to equip Carrefour stores in Argentina with seventy reverse vending systems. Winning this order marks the entry of Wincor Nixdorf into the South American retail market with reverse vending systems. Under the agreement, the systems, which are designed to accept returns of refillable and non-refillable beverage containers, including cans, will be supplied and installed over the remainder of this year. The order covers a range of services including the commissioning and support of all the equipment supplied and also essential background equipment.
