Supplier Conference 2009

"Strategic Alliances" is the theme we will carry in our Supplier Conference 2009. It will enable our suppliers to obtain a better understanding regarding our expectations towards our suppliers and to show them how to become a strategic partner for Wincor Nixdorf. The conference will take place on January 22nd and 23rd 2009, combined with the Wincor World 2009.

The supplier selection for this conference is limited - invitations have been sent out mid of November 2008.

Implementation of SAP SRM

Recently the Strategic Purchasing department completed the implementation of SAP SRM. The system is used for the electronic handling of inquiries and proposals (eRFQ). The gradual conversion to the system advances quite well. At invitation to tender the supplier receives an access to the Wincor Nixdorf SRM by mail, which he can use for direct log-in to the system. That way a standardized inquiry and proposal process is guaranteed.
