Implementation of SAP SRM / eRfX

Recently the Strategic Purchasing department completed the implementation of SAP SRM EBP for electronic link-up of the operational ordering process (Non-Production Materials and Services) for all german Wincor Nixdorf Entities. Further rollout in european subsidiaries corrently is being planned.

The usage of the SAP SRM sourcing tool (eRfX) for electronic processing of inquiries and tendering was promoted by Strategic Purchasing and alreadyimplemented in other departments with purchasing functions. After a first pilot installation, the SAP SRM e-auction functionality is increasingly applicable and already was sucessfully used for several sourcing-projects. In addition, the system was implemented at our strategic purchasing department in Asia including our first succesfull supplier e-auction there, too.

Supplier Conference 2009

"Developing Strategic Alliances" was the theme of our Supplier Conference 2009 which took place on January 22nd and 23rd 2009 in Paderborn, Germany.

The conference was a good platform for our Top-100-suppliers to get detailled information about Wincor Nixdorf's expectations towards his suppliers as well as to exchange business knowledge and meet other suppliers or Wincor Nixdorf's contact persons. All participants received the presentations which were held on the conference as CD-ROM by post.
