mySAP Retail Store

Solution
mySAP Retail Store has been specifically developed to support processes at stores. It is completely integrated in the processes of the host merchandise management system mySAP Retail. The host system is accessed over the Internet.
The user interface of mySAP Retail Store is intuitive so store staff do not need to attend lengthy training sessions. They have access to all data and functions that they need to assist them in their daily work - from master data maintenance, purchasing processes, inventory management to sales. Of course, store staff also have access to the analyses and reports that are relevant for their jobs.
The functions of mySAP Retail Store can be tailored to the specific requirements of different users in order to make work more effective at the stores.
The user interface can also be adjusted to the retailer's corporate design easily and fast.
Since stores also have to carry out tasks relating to personnel, it is also possible to maintain personnel data, capture working times and output personnel reports via mySAP Retail Store.
The mySAP Retail Store software requires users to log in with a user name and password and allows personal permissions to be granted so that it is impossible for unauthorized users to access data.
Standard interfaces are available to connect mobile data entry terminals without difficulty.
In conjunction with SAP, Wincor Nixdorf has developed a solution of its own to connect PoS systems. Stores are given maximum functionality by integrating mySAP Retail Store and POSition to form a joint solution package.
This enables stores to access the functions of POSition Storeware in addition to the functions they need from mySAP Retail Store. Staff at stores use an entry-level menu and a uniform user interface to navigate through point-of-sale and merchandise management functions.
Connection of store solution components (POSition Storeware, mySAP Retail Store) to mySAP Retail at head office has been implemented via the Internet. When the data is transferred, the known IDOC structures are translated into XML format. Actual integration with the mySAP Retail System is based on the SAP Business Connector (XML interface).
This makes it possible to transfer data between stores and head office both in permanent online mode and at certain intervals. For example, users can keep track of the sales situation during a promotion at any time.
