ProClassic/Enterprise
Future-oriented system architecture enables step-by-step integration of channels
Wincor Nixdorf already has a portfolio of products and services for all channels. This covers the demand placed on existing, mostly vertical and less integrated solutions.
Wincor Nixdorf's multi-channel banking portfolio revolves around ProClassic/ Enterprise. This solution delivers end-to-end functionality for the self-service delivery channel. At the same time, ProClassic/Enterprise introduces the J2EE platform as the basis for integrating additional delivery channels, for example the branch. Wincor Nixdorf handles the interface between the branch, the Internet and call center as well as the integration of CRM functions, business intelligence and document and system management with its own products, comprehensive services and partnerships with established product vendors.
Leading enterprise self-service solution supplies the integration framework
ProClassic/Enterprise already meets all the requirements for a self-service channel. These include device monitoring, handling financial transactions and logging to bank-specific journals. ProClassic/Enterprise focuses the business logic, data storage and the configuration at server level on scalable application servers, eliminating the need for cost- and maintenance-intensive local architectures.
Encapsulating functionality in components, separation into layers and the use of open standards allow seamless cooperation between the customer IT, hardware suppliers and system integrators. This technology ensures there are no redundant developments, speeds up the introduction of new solutions and streamlines system management.
Smart Clients offer additional flexibility
ProClassic/Enterprise introduces a new technology on the client level in the form of the smart client. This unites the advantages of so-called thin clients and fat clients, while at the same time avoiding their disadvantages. The self-service system contains just an application-neutral Java runtime environment and a Web browser. During runtime, the ProClassic/Enterprise Server loads application components and Web pages into this environment, where they are then executed. This technology combines all the benefits of central monitoring with client-based device control and the necessary emergency capabilities.
The ProClassic/Enterprise Server contains the entire application logic
ProClassic/Enterprise Business Services comprise all the software components that control business transactions on the self-service devices. This includes self-service channel-specific services as well as all the general financial and technical services that solutions can use for other channels. In addition, the ProClassic/Enterprise Server contains connectors that interface to clients and to downstream systems such as the transaction systems used in business operations.
ProClassic/Enterprise Administration ensures that operations run smoothly
Monitoring and supplying the self-service devices over the network poses a huge challenge. Problems must be identified as quickly as possible, causes located and eliminated rapidly. In addition, statistics logs make it possible to take precautionary measures. ProClassic/Enterprise Administration offers a broad array of functions that reduce this work and, at the same time, increase the security of your self-service network operations. Functions and data are accessed either over the ProClassic/Enterprise Console or via an external system management application.
Smooth connection of flanking systems
In addition to the wide-range connection of all sales channels to an homogeneous customer interface, the integration of the central processing and evaluation systems is extremely important.
