Sparkasse Karlsruhe transfers operation of 260 self-service systems to Wincor Nixdorf for ten years
Wincor Nixdorf has been awarded a contract by Sparkasse Karlsruhe to assume responsibility for operating its 260 self-service systems at 66 branches. Effective immediately and for ten years, Wincor Nixdorf will deliver services ranging from self-service system monitoring and administration to standard hardware maintenance under the terms of its Managed Services offer. With this contract, Sparkasse Karlsruhe hands over the complete operation of its self-service systems to Wincor Nixdorf. The savings bank will profit from cost savings and be able to concentrate completely on its operative business.
All ATMs are linked remotely to Wincor Nixdorf’s System Management Center. Real-time monitoring, including immediate problem reports and remote maintenance, is carried out here 24/7. Wincor Nixdorf’s End User Help Desk assists staff at the branches with solutions for problems they can solve themselves onsite. In addition, Wincor Nixdorf provides monthly quality reporting on the agreed service levels.
Moreover, Wincor Nixdorf will take on both the upgrades of all self-service systems according to Finanz Informatik’s latest specifications as well as the renewal and installation of those systems that are older than ten years. Branch design consultants will be involved in the process prior to every new installation.
“We decided for Wincor Nixdorf because we believe the company offers high self-service system availability and thus better service for our customers. It’s important to us that our 260 self-service systems are available to our bank customers around the clock. We also found the service concept, with its existing reference customers, very convincing,” explains Michael Huber, Chairman of the Board at Sparkasse Karlsruhe.
