Terms and Conditions of Participation
Training & Workshops
1. Registration/ Confirmation
You can register online, by e-mail, fax, phone or postal mail. Registrations made by telephone must be submitted subsequently in writing. Shortly after registering, each participant will receive confirmation with all the necessary information regarding the booked training or workshop. Unless stated otherwise in the confirmation, the training will begin at 10:00 a.m. on the first day and will end at around 4:00 p.m. on the last day.
2. Cancellation
2.1 Cancellation by Wincor Nixdorf
Wincor Nixdorf may withdraw from the contract if the minimum attendance is not reached, or if the event must be canceled due to the presenter's illness or for technical reasons. Before exercising this right of withdrawal, Wincor Nixdorf Training & Workshops will try to reassign the registration to a different date and/or a different event location to the degree that this is possible and the participant consents to the reassignment. Changes will be notified without undue delay.
2.2 Cancellation by the Participant
Participants may cancel their registrations free of charge if written cancellation is received at least 8 calendar days before the event begins. If the written cancellation is received at a later date, but before the day the course begins, a flat rate of 75% of the course fees will be charged. Cancellations are no longer possible as of the day the course begins. If a participant drops out of the course or fails to appear without prior cancellation, the agreed fee is due in full. Substitute participants are accepted. Participants will be liable for any hotel charges incurred.
3. Course Documentation
The seminar documentation or parts thereof may not be copied, reprinted, translated, electronically processed, or passed on to third parties without written authorization from Wincor Nixdorf International GmbH. Participants are obligated to observe the copyright protection of the software used during the seminar and not to make copies.
4. Course Fees
4.1 General
The prices given in the current training catalogue apply. All prices are subject to VAT. Travel and hotel costs are not included in the price. The prices include the training itself, course documentation and the use of the necessary hardware and software products for the duration of the course.
4.2 Discounts
Employees at Wincor Nixdorf AG or at one of the subsidiary companies receive a twenty (20) percent discount on all courses. We offer a discount of ten (10) percent to authorized partners. These discounts apply unless explicitly excluded in the course description. Discounts are taken into account by Wincor Nixdorf Training when the invoice is issued.
5. Accommodation
5.1 General
If accommodation is requested at the time of registration, we are will be happy to make the corresponding reservation in the name of the participant and at his or her expense. If it is not possible for us to make a reservation, the participant will be informed without undue delay. Cancellations or changes should be taken care of by the participant. Please note that hotel costs resulting from no-shows must be billed to the participant or person making the hotel reservation.
5.2 Hotel Seminar
For seminars held at a hotel, we recommend that all participants reside at the hotel during the seminar. A corresponding number of rooms is reserved in the hotel where the seminar is being held. At the end of the course, participants pay for accommodation, breakfast and a flat rate for half-board at the hotel. Participants who do not reside at the hotel must pay for conference meal service at the hotel before departure.
6. Terms of Payment
Seminar fees are due net cash immediately upon receipt of the invoice. Invoices will be issued after the course.
7. Security
Participants are obliged to observe the safety regulations that are valid for the event location.
8. Additional Agreements, Place of Jurisdiction
Additional agreements must be in written form. Place of jurisdiction is Paderborn.
