Leading Turkish banks order 1,150 ATMs

Wincor Nixdorf has won Turkey's largest ATM replacement project to date, with Ziraatbank and Halkbank - the country's top two financial institutions, awarding the Company an order to supply and install a total of 1,100 ProCash 2050xe and 50 ProCash 2150xe automated teller machines with Cheque Cash Deposit Module (CCDM)  by the end of July. This order sees Wincor Nixdorf grow its market position in Turkey considerably.

The banks embarked on the tendering procedure for this project together as part of a strategic re-positioning of their branch networks.  Ziraatbank, the largest bank in Turkey, has ordered 800 systems with Halkbank, the Number 2, ordering 350. The first 600 machines have already been installed in Ziraatbank.  

The monofunction ProCash 2050xe and multifunction ProCash 2150xe CCDM ATMs offer customers a whole range of service functionality. Equipped with up to four cassettes, these can dispense and deposit cash, provide account balance information and carry out bank transfers. Their simple user interface and optional visual menu system on all deposit and withdrawal modules ensure high levels of user-friendliness.
