AGM approves increase in dividend
The shareholders of Wincor Nixdorf AG approved all items on the agenda of today's Annual General Meeting in Paderborn with overwhelming majorities. For fiscal 2007/2008 shareholders in the company will receive a dividend payment of €2.13 per share. This is equivalent to a rise of 13 percent on the regular dividend of €1.88 paid out for 2006/2007, in addition to which a special dividend of €0.90 was distributed a year ago. The total dividend payout thus amounts to €67.4 million.
Nearly 500 participants were present at the AGM. The overall shareholder attendance figure at this year's General Meeting of Shareholders was equivalent to 22,39 million shares (67,69% of share capital).
On the morning prior to the AGM the company had already reported on its performance during the first quarter of fiscal 2008/2009 (see separate press release). Wincor Nixdorf remains committed to following up the very good previous year’s performance and maintain approximately the same level of business.
Wincor Nixdorf will be publishing its interim report for the first half of 2008/2009 on April 23, 2008.
