AGM approves dividend of €1.85

The shareholders of Wincor Nixdorf AG approved all items on the agenda of today's Annual General Meeting in Paderborn with substantial majorities. For fiscal 2008/2009, shareholders in the company will receive a dividend payment of €1.85 per share. This is 13 percent below the dividend of €2.13 paid out for 2007/2008. The total dividend payout thus amounts to €58.6 million.

Nearly 400 participants were present at the AGM. The overall shareholder attendance figure at this year's General Meeting of Shareholders was equivalent to 19.2 million shares (58% of share capital). On the morning prior to the AGM the company had already reported on its performance during the first quarter of fiscal 2009/2010 (see separate press release). Wincor Nixdorf anticipates a further decline in its net sales and operating profit for the fiscal year as a whole, albeit no more severe than in the last fiscal year. Wincor Nixdorf will be publishing its interim report for the first half of 2009/2010 on April 28, 2010.
