Portfolio geared to the store processes of internationally operating enterprises

For its business in the retail sector, Wincor Nixdorf has geared its portfolio to the store processes of internationally operating enterprises. It ranges from solutions for sales, such as electronic POS systems, and application software to standardized payment interfaces that can be used internationally for handling cashless transactions.

Supporting the trend toward automation, ensuring high availability

We support the growing trend toward automation and introducing self-service processes with solutions such as self-checkout systems. Further automation technologies include reverse vending machines, mobile data entry devices, kiosk systems, electronic advertising displays or electronic shelf labels. We are expanding our retail cash management offering to cater for the extensive process chain for cash handling. A key component of the product range is the scalable, modular BEETLE EPOS (electronic point of sale) family with its open system architecture. In order to control store processes, we offer a software platform that can be used internationally for a very wide range of checkout concepts – from the traditional stationary POS system to mobile scanning. We also operate in the field of IT and business consulting, with the focus on SAP, in selected countries.

We fulfill our customers’ key requirements for high availability of their systems with comprehensive services. So that irregularities are identified immediately, we monitor our customers’ online systems worldwide from 26 customer centers. We offer traditional maintenance, online (remote) troubleshooting and software and network management and ensure the security of IT networks. We have technicians close to our customers in 26 countries and ship more than one million spare parts a year from our logistics centers around the world.
