Wincor Nixdorf: Senior Vice President for retail business leaves company

Dr. Herbert Machill, Senior Vice President, Retail at Wincor Nixdorf AG, is leaving the company at his own request in order to devote himself to new tasks and challenges. Machill assumed responsibility in October 2007 for directing the company's worldwide business with retail enterprises. Under his leadership, Wincor Nixdorf AG took significant steps forward toward becoming a provider of integrated solutions for retail environments. Eckard Heidloff, President and CEO of Wincor Nixdorf AG, expressed his regret at Machill’s decision and thanked him for his commitment to the realignment of the company’s retail business. Heidloff will assume Machill’s responsibilities provisionally until a successor to Machill can be named.
