5/4/15 | SmartCash at all BAWAG ATMs – even without a card

It doesn't get any smarter than this: the Austrian financial institution BAWAG PSK has become one of the first banks in Europe to introduce cash withdrawals at ATMs in all its branches – without a card. Is your card defective? Does a friend urgently need some cash? Together with its technology partner Wincor Nixdorf, BAWAG PSK has developed a new SmartCash function for situations just like these to make the bank's cash services easier and more flexible.

Amazing apps for Albert in only 48 hours

Tested and approved: mobile developers from all over the world convened in Berlin's CityCube last week at Hackfest. They were there to program apps for Albert – Wincor Nixdorf's multifunctional, interactive payment tablet – with the help of Wincor Nixdorf's Aevi developer portal. The apps that were developed as part of the two-day programming competition demonstrate how innovation-friendly and yet entrepreneurial the programming community is.

cutting-edge payment solution

Wincor Nixdorf has been working with Commonwealth Bank of Australia in implementing an innovative payment solution today on the Australian market, which will significantly improve the world of electronic payments. Albert, as the payment tablet is called, was jointly developed by Wincor Nixdorf, Commonwealth Bank and the design company IDEO. It changes how retailers interact with their customers and stands for a whole new customer experience. Following the market launch in Australia, Wincor Nixdorf will now also offer the Android-based payment terminal to customers in other markets.

Thanks to new drive-up cash machines, Saudi Hollandi Bank will offer customers drive-up cash withdrawals at even more locations in the future. The bank is extending its ATM network both in the drive-up and branch area. Wincor Nixdorf together with its sales and service partner for Saudi Arabia, Abana, has received an order for delivery and installation of 130 CINEO ATMs.
