The counter is still an important sales channel for the railway and public transport industry, representing a direct contact point with the customer and enabling the employees to further optimize and strengthen customer loyalty with an excellent service. Innovative systems with automated processes increase security at the counter area and allow the staff to free-up more time for individual customer services, supporting this aim in an optimal way.
The customer chooses a ticket according to the price zone and the applicable reductions and pays either with cash or card. In case of cash payment, the employee deposits the notes in the C6010 system and coins in the iCash 15 system without having to open them, change is given automatically. Afterwards, the ticket is printed or loaded on an electronic card. Of course, the integration of own customer sales systems is possible, e.g. for complex booking systems in the railway segment.
