Implementation of SAP SRM / eRfX

Recently the Strategic Purchasing department completed the implementation of SAP SRM EBP for electronic link-up of the operational ordering process (Non-Production Materials and Services) for all german Wincor Nixdorf Entities. Further rollout in european subsidiaries currently is being planned.

The usage of the SAP SRM sourcing tool (eRfX) for electronic processing of inquiries and tendering was promoted by Strategic Purchasing and already implemented in other departments with purchasing functions. After a first pilot installation, the SAP SRM e-auction functionality is increasingly applicable and already was sucessfully used for several sourcing-projects. In addition, the system was implemented at our strategic purchasing department in Asia including our first succesfull supplier e-auction there, too.

Supplier Conference 2010

"Face the global challenge - do you wincor?" is the theme we will carry in our Supplier Conference 2010. It will enable our suppliers to obtain a better understanding regarding our expectations towards our suppliers and to show them how to become a strategic partner for Wincor Nixdorf. The conference will take place on January 28th and 29th 2010, combined with the Wincor World 2009.

The supplier selection for this conference is limited - invitations have been sent out end of November 2009.
