Wincor World 2011: Successful trade show and experts forum
At total of more than 7000 visitors from over 90 countries came to Wincor World 2011 to view the 600 exhibits featuring IT solutions and services from Wincor Nixdorf and 40 partner exhibitors. Once again, the extensive program of presentations and workshops with international experts from big-name companies proved a great success. First and foremost, Wincor World issued a strong message through its new and further-developed solution scenarios for cash cycle automation in banks and retail enterprises. Guests were also greatly impressed by solutions that showed how to handle cashless payments, redesign branches to improve customer focus and security, as well as automate processes at the point of sale. "Visitors to our trade show gained a clear picture of the added value that we offer our customers by integrating hardware, software and services into complete solutions that improve their business processes in the long term,” explained Andreas Bruck, head of Corporate Communications at Wincor Nixdorf.
As expected, visitors focused most of their attention during the three-day exhibition on the aspect of Cash Cycle Management. One year after the initial presentation of its innovative concept, Wincor Nixdorf was able to show that major progress has been made. The solution, which stands for greater security and transparency, improved cash handling processes and lower costs, met with great interest among customers from the banking and retail sectors. Detailed discussions with visitors to the stands and during the symposium showed that, with its Cash Cycle Management Solutions, Wincor Nixdorf has succeeded in offering its clients major improvement potential. The cooperation with Giesecke & Devrient – aimed at further automation of the cash cycles – was another area that received a great response from visitors.
Other highlights from Wincor Nixdorf included software that supports banking and retail multichannel strategies and security solutions for systems, branches/stores and networks. In the area of self-service and branch/store process automation, Wincor Nixdorf presented its new generation of Cineo systems and flexible self-service solutions for the checkout. Besides this, the company presented new ideas for efficient operation of the solutions on show.
