Wincor Nixdorf awarded contract to provide site systems software as part of Shell’s Global Site Systems Programme Wincor Nixdorf is set to equip Shell International Petroleum Company Limited (“Shell”) service stations internationally with a new service station solution and, in doing so, further standardize large sections of Shell’s service station network. David Moss, General Manager Site Systems from Shell explained: “Shell are pleased to announce that Wincor Nixdorf have been awarded a contract to provide Site Systems software as part of Shell’s Global Site Systems Program. The program will be rolled out over the next five years and will benefit a significant proportion of Shell’s Retail Estate. This contract was awarded following a rigorous selection process by Shell that has been running over the past nine months. Wincor Nixdorf will start to work with Shell from Jan ’09 and we look forward to them being an integral part of the delivery team over the life of the program.” The holistic Namos portfolio, representing Wincor Nixdorf`s i-Service Station, sets new standards for Petroleum/Convenience Retailers. Its flexibility enables the same solution to be used across a global network, no matter of the operation types or size of operation.
