Conditions of Participation
Training & Workshops
1. Registration/ Confirmation
You can register online if you go in the training descriptions.
Should there be any problems or do you need the participation signed, please use our fax registration form. Telephone registrations must be validated in writing.
Each participant will receive confirmation of his registration as well as all the necessary details of the applicable course.
Unless stated otherwise in the detailed description of the training, it will begin at 10 am on the first day and end at 4 pm on the last.
2. Cancellation
2.1 Cancellation on the part of Wincor Nixdorf Training & Workshops
Wincor Nixdorf Training & Workshops may withdraw from the contract in the event that the number of participants for a given course should fall short of the designated minimum attendance number, that the course should be called off due to the trainer falling ill, or that technical reasons should prevent the course from being held.
Prior to taking advantage of its right of rescission, Banking Division Training will attempt to transfer the course to an alternative date and/or to an alternative location, insofar as this is possible and the participants agree to such change.
Participants will be notified immediately of any change.
2.2 Cancellation on the part of participants
Notice of cancellation must be given in writing.
Cancellations on the part of participants will not be subject to a charge if they are received not later than 10 business days prior to course begin.
Cancellation charges are as follows:
a) 75% of the participation fee for a cancellation less than 10 business days prior to the course begin
b) 100% of the participation fee for a cancellation less than 3 business days prior to the course begin
Substitute participants will be accepted.
Any costs incurred for accommodation shall be assumed by the participant.
3. Course Documentation
Seminar documents or parts thereof may be neither reproduced nor reprinted nor translated nor electronically processed nor forwarded to third parties without the written consent of Wincor Nixdorf Training & Workshops. Participants shall agree to heed the copyright protection on the software used during the seminar and to refrain from making copies thereof.
4. Course Fees
4.1 General
The participation fees specified in the current training guide shall be applicable. The currently valid rate of turnover tax shall be due on those fees. The fees do not cover the costs for travel and accommodation. The fees do cover all deliverable training, course documentation and the use of all necessary hardware and software products.
4.2 Discount rates
Wincor Nixdorf International GmbH employees shall be granted a 20% reduction on course fees if not given other information in the course description.
Our authorized partners shall be offered a 10% reduction on fees.
The aforementioned discounts shall be taken into account during invoicing by Wincor Nixdorf Training & Workshops.
5. Accommodation
5.1 General
Should participants require accommodation, we will be happy to make a reservation in the name of the participant. Should we not be able to make a reservation, the participants concerned shall be immediately notified thereof.
Participants shall be responsible for any cancellations or changes.
Any costs incurred for accommodation reserved but not occupied shall be reinvoiced to the participant/registering organization.
5.2 Trainings held in hotels
If a training will be held in a hotel an overnight stay for the participants is recommended. A contingent is booked in the same hotel where the training will be held.
Please note that the participants have to pay overnight stay, breakfast and lump sum for catering. That applies to the participants who do not stay overnight as well. The lump sum for catering has to be paid at the end of the training.
6. Conditions of Payment
Wincor Nixdorf Training & Workshops shall prepare invoices upon the completion of each course. Net invoice amounts shall be due immediately and in full.
7. Security
Participants shall agree to heed the security regulations applicable at course locations.
8. Ancillary Agreements, Place of Jurisdiction
Ancillary agreements shall require the written form. The place of jurisdiction is Paderborn.
